Montreal QBank
Privacy notice
This notice explains the information Montreal QBank uses to provide accounts, study progress, support, and subscriptions.
Status and version
Updated October 3, 2026.
Information used
Account and study information may include your email, display name, user ID, preferences, study attempts, flags, private notes, personal questions, and support requests. Abuse-prevention records may include a one-way network fingerprint and hourly time window, not the raw address.
Service providers and locations
Supabase provides authentication and application data storage. Vercel hosts the public website. Stripe processes website payments and stores payment-method details. Apple and Google process purchases made through their respective app stores. We verify store purchase identifiers or tokens, subscription status, expiry, and an account identifier to provide and restore study access. Payment-card details remain with the payment provider. These processors may handle data outside Canada under their contractual safeguards. Montreal QBank does not store complete card numbers.
Purpose and retention
Information is used to operate the service, restore progress, secure accounts, provide support, and prevent abuse. Account and study information is retained while an account is active and as needed for these purposes. After a verified deletion request, information is deleted or anonymized except where limited retention is required for security, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes. Provider backups may persist temporarily before aging out.
Your choices and deletion
You may update profile information in the app, delete your account in Settings, or contact support to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance. Subscription records may retain a purchase identifier after account deletion to prevent a purchase from being reassigned; the deleted account identity is removed from that record. Identity verification may be required before an account request is completed.
